I follow a lot of Japanese coppersmiths and silversmiths. Few compare to them in terms of skillsets. They are often second to no one.

I love tiny apartments. From an ecological perspective, which is something I personally care about, they're an amazing way for everyone to still have their own space without the massive carbon footprint of standard western houses, but every one of them just makes me wish I was like 5 or 6 inches shorter. 6'5" is just that little bit too much to ever be able to fully stretch out in one of these apartments.

As a finn I got excited. Very nice base. I would fix that floor base first. I don't know about building laws in Japan but fire place with stone or brick wall would be nice as it stores the heat and keeps place warm. You would need your own patch of forest or buy firewood from somewhere.

This is one of the more liveable apartments, but I don't think I'd want to live here. The exposed gas line freaks me out and I don't love how open the bathroom is.

Living in a place this small is toture. You couldnt even have a bed cuz it couldnt go up the stairs. And there isnt a real stove or a large fridge so you couldnt even prepare food. This has worst living conditions than a lot of prisons.

As for the final question as to whether I would live in any of these. Definitely the first one mainly because I would feel too large for the other two. If I was a normal Japanese height and weight for a young man I would definitely live in the other two. I couldn't see myself in that last one for longer than half a year. I'd get too antsy. The second one would be something I could see myself being in for a year. The first one though definitely could be accustomed to that one short term for maybe a few years.

That 3rd apartment is quite amazing. The toilet door swinging, the bed being about 6 feet long is perfect even for taller folks. Under bed storage for winter clothes and possibly shoes. Lots of storage above, a private desk, a fridge for cold drinks and food. Definitely no cooking here. That washroom is actually amazing. Definitely need to be slightly small for that shower however.

I thought that 2nd tiny apartment was cursed until you said that there was a ladder. I was beside myself like what do? Definitely cannot have a kitchen in this type of play but possible a gaming setup. You would have to survive on convenience store food or dry storage food for eating. Not bad considering the rates of food in Japan being quality and fairly cheap.

As a 6 foot 3 guy I definitely wouldn't be able to stay in a place like this. That said I can see a lot of 5 foot 6 people really being able to live quite well in this type of place. Very new, sound canceled, you don't have neighbors to disturb and you don't have to climb stairs. Quite decent sized refrigerator AND washing machine. I just am unsure as to if you can properly place a couch as a television in there.

He's amazing! I want to have a life as simple and straightforward as his. He makes life easier and lighter. He has multifunctional items that make his life much simpler and more straightforward.

As a shortie, I could so easily do that loft area as a bed.

The location is the big key. I think yes I could live there especially if I was working or going to school in the area for a limited time. Its small yes but it looked clean. The bathroom placement would not honestly bother me. Frankly it seems to be a place to sleep and maybe have a meal every now and then. Not a place to LIVE or bring guests over or even hang out. Also remember 70000 yen sounds high but that is less than 600 USD in a city that frankly can be crazy expensive.

The house is very good for someone who wants to live alone or two young people at max. The house is not suitable for old or disabled people. I absolutely love the concept. The Japanese people really use the most out of what they have which is inspiring.
